What we did

Base and brickwork for a new projecting porch
Brick and detailing selected to match the existing frontage
Roof and junctions tied into the original elevation
New composite entrance door and glazing set into the structure
Threshold, step and approach finished to the frontage

Proportion did the work here. The porch projects far enough to shelter the door and give the elevation a centre, without overwhelming the bay alongside it or crowding the frontage.

The result

An entrance with somewhere to stand out of the rain, and a front elevation that now has a focal point.
